Whipped Pumpkin Butter
A Cozy Fall Spread for Toast, Biscuits & More
There’s something about pumpkin season that makes every kitchen feel a little warmer. This Whipped Pumpkin Butter is one of those simple fall treats that instantly feels special — lightly sweet, perfectly spiced, and incredibly easy to make.
And this one comes straight from Sue’s kitchen. She whipped this up for us recently, and it was too good not to share. Silky, fluffy, and full of warm fall flavor — it’s everything you want on a crisp autumn morning.
Ingredients
1/2 cup butter (1 stick), softened
3 Tbsp pumpkin purée
2 Tbsp TSTE Pumpkin Spice Maple Syrup
1 tsp TSTE Pumpkin Pie Spice Blend
Pinch of salt, to taste
Directions
In a large bowl, combine the softened butter, pumpkin purée, Pumpkin Spice Maple Syrup, and Pumpkin Pie Spice Blend.
Using a hand mixer or stand mixer, whip the mixture until well-combined and lightly airy. This takes several minutes — it may look wet or grainy at first, but keep going until it becomes smooth and fluffy. Adjust seasonings and add salt to taste.
Spoon, pipe, or swirl the pumpkin butter into small bowls or jars for serving. You can also refrigerate or freeze it to have on hand for cozy fall breakfasts.
How to Enjoy
Spread it on toast, melt it over a stack of pancakes, swirl it into warm oatmeal, or serve it alongside biscuits for an easy fall brunch. It also makes a sweet little homemade gift — tuck it into a jar with a cinnamon stick for a simple autumn touch.
